The brief

Montage Commercial Interiors designs and delivers commercial fit-outs across Sydney. The team’s day is built around clients, drawings, supplier coordination, site visits and the kind of fast-turnaround creative work that doesn’t tolerate IT getting in the way. The brief to Static Computers has always been simple: own the technology end of the business, hold the line on security, and make it easy for the team to get on with the work.

What we look after

The engagement covers the full IT footprint of the business, under a single Managed Services Agreement.

End-to-end managed IT. Day-to-day support, endpoint care, account management, monitoring and the routine work of keeping the environment healthy. When something needs attention, the team rings one number. When something needs planning, a new starter, a leaver, a hardware refresh, a software change, it’s scheduled, communicated and closed out cleanly.

Cyber security. Endpoint protection, Microsoft 365 security configuration, MFA, identity hygiene, conditional access, phishing protection and the ongoing review work that keeps the posture current. For a commercial interiors business holding client floor plans, supplier pricing, contracts and project documentation, the security work is about protecting the trust customers place in the firm, not chasing a certification badge.

Microsoft 365. Mailboxes, licences, distribution lists, shared inboxes, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive are all managed by Static. Licensing is right-sized to each user so the business isn’t paying for features that nobody touches. New starters are onboarded with the right access from day one; leavers are properly disabled. The collaboration layer that the team relies on for drawings and project files is configured and maintained as a real environment, not a bolt-on.Hardware and software procurement. When the team needs new laptops, peripherals or specialist software, Static handles the procurement, specification, sourcing, ordering, configuration and rollout. Devices arrive ready to use rather than ready to set up. Software licensing is purchased in a way that’s easy to manage, easy to scale and easy to audit later.
